We are very excited to introduce the new Saxophone Summit: Visitation ArtistShare® Project. This unique ArtistShare® project brings together some of the most monumental figures in jazz: saxophone titans Dave Liebman, Joe Lovano, and Ravi Coltrane will join forces with an equally dynamic rhythm section featuring pianist Phil Markowitz, bassist Cecil McBee, and drummer Billy Hart to create an exciting album featuring all-new music. Each of these world-class musicians will contribute one new, original composition to the album, as well as individual and collective improvisation.

As a participant in the exciting Saxophone Summit ArtistShare® Project you will have access to the creative process behind the new Visitation CD. The members of the Saxophone Summit will take you on an artistic journey as they share their own individual approaches to composition and improvisation with you through exclusive interviews, sketches of the music, online lessons, anecdotes, previews of the music from the album, and much more. Over the course of the project, these musicians will share with you their musical and personal inspirations, how they improvise, and their personal Sax Summit stories. With so many masters of jazz coming together for one album, there is bound to be a wealth of great stories and insights to go along with these new recordings. All of this will be documented and shared with you through ArtistShare® via online streaming videos and audio shows, written project news updates, online photo galleries, downloadable content, and more. The end result of this project will be the new Visitation CD featuring Saxophone Summit's latest creative works.
